After the flood
February 2007 saw terrible floods throughout Jakarta as rains lashed town and rivers brought more water from the mountains. This village in East Jakarta had been submerged to a depth of 2 metres a week earlier. We came here to donate a new water pump and bedding to a local orphanage.
